Media coverage of Kobe Bryant’s death was a chaotic mess

Margaret Sullivan, writing on the Washington Post about the overall questionable media coverage of Kobe Bryant’s death:

But what rules the media world in 2020 is the drive to be first, at any cost, and the rush to get something — anything, it sometimes seems — on an outlet’s site.
